Anybody with a brain knows how remote services work, and that onstar has them. That doesn't prove your theory, at all. All you proved is that they can remotely disable a vehicle and track it's location with onstar. You have yet to make a logical connection between the "Cash for Clunkers" program and onstar services, OTHER than the fact that many new cars come with this service for a limited period, then you have to subscribe to them. SHOW me proof that the government initiated this program for that SOLE purpose (which you won't be able to, because your theory is absurd in the truest form of absurdity)

Look, This was just something I thought of when I was really tired and I found it amusing. My links were not put there to make any kind of connection or to show any type of proof that this is a conspiracy. I put the links there to show that the technology is there IF the government wishes to do something like that.
I never said it was true I only said it was plausible because the technology is there. Please don't freak out on me because you didn't understand the intention of the links.

I found that completely illogical and fundamentally ridiculous. I can see what you're saying, that IF they wanted to; "theoretically", they could. Gotcha. No freaking out here I assure you.

ok, I see where you misunderstood me.
I didn't mean this particular theory.I meant that some theories in general seem plausible.
When I said "They" I meant conspiracy theories in general not "They" as in the government.

It was just something I thought of when I was really tired this morning after reading an article about how the police used OnStar to shut of an engine an lock a car thief in the vehicle.
I wish I could find the article again.
