Perhaps you can suggest something to keep that person busy. It sounds like someone needs a hobby or a job. What I always wonder about with such people is, what do they do to pay their bills? They obviously do not spend an abundant amount of time working or they'd have no time to be busybodies.
You just tell them.
Could be they do it to get a reaction out of you.
In four words: mind your own business!
It may seem like they are a bother from your viewpoint, but from theirs, they actually may think they are truly being helpful.
