Israel has reason to be nervous. It has been getting away with genocide and Apartheid for 61 years and it's time of recknoning is coming, they know it and are only trying to stop the inevitable.
Here's one example of how the tables are turning and the court of public opinion is beginning to have a say in this matter:
Israel reveals its fear of war crimes trials
The Israeli contingency plan follows reports yesterday that Tel Aviv has hired a Belgian lawyer for Mr Sharon, who will try to persuade judges in Brussels to throw out a complaint seeking his prosecution over the massacre of Palestinian refugees nearly 20 years ago.
The Belgian courts are also reportedly considering complaints against Israel's army chief, Shaul Mofaz, and the air force commander, Dan Halutz, for the death of Palestinian civilians during the current 10-month-old uprising.
Last month, 28 survivors of the slaughter in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps filed a complaint against Mr Sharon, accusing him of responsibility for the killing of hundreds of Palestinians by Lebanese Christian militias in 1982.
Mr Gillon admits authorising the torture of Palestinian detainees during his tenure at the Shin Bet from 1995-1996, and leftwing Danish legislators want him prosecuted under international conventions against torture.

Israel's days are numbered and they know it. No matter how loud they scream "anti-Semitism" and "Holocust" they're going to have to respond for their actions of the past 61+ years. If it was good enough for the Nazis, it should be good enough for them!
As Mephistopheles pointed out, there's not a day that I don't see at least one more scandal in the press involving Israel, it just seems like everything that's wrong and evil in this world, Israel's hand is behind it from the invasion of Iraq to the trafficking of human organs. So much for being the "Chosen People"!

Dear Borther,
Israel is nervous because getting defeat from HizBollah. Now they are afaird from shia muslims because they know that shia muslims can do anything. Not only Israel is nervous but also usa is nervous from Iran. Again country of Shia Muslims.

Because they are doing everything that's wrong and they know it! The Europeean community is mounting against them rapidly and soon the US will have to join to keep their face up, that's partly why.
