Put conkers in all the corners, corners of windows and any entry points in your house, basement, attic, garage etc
The spiders hate conkers and won't enter if there are a load in your house
My Nan told me that and it DOES work :)
Basically, I take a clean piece of paper and simply squash them.. also vacuum up the webs, some webs contain spider eggs. You don't want more spiders to be borN! Also the bigger the spider you squash, the better. Those bigger than usual spiders are such a pain to your house and produce so many babies.
Spray the spider in it's web with hair spray, it will dissolve the protective oil on the spider's feet that keep the spider from stcicking to its own web, as such it will suffocate in its own web
By a pooter/spirator or bug vacuum from an educational toy store if you want to catch the bug and dispose of it outside humanely.
spiders are your friends. They eat pesky mosquitos and bugs that crawl on your floor
Hey Guys!! I am Turkish and in my country we use ostrich egg to keep spiders away from home...try it and see the result...you are gonna be astonished.because it really works.(the egg must be totally unbroken and uncooked.i think spiders dont like the smell of rotten ostrich egg that we couldnt sense)This method have been used in the mosques in Turkish Republic for ages. For example "Blue Mosque" which is one of the biggest and oldest mosques in the country has 400 ostrich eggs.It was built in 1616 and since than nobodys seen a spider or a web..
in addition one of my friends has got a big house in a forest.6 years ago she and her family even thought to sell her house and move to city center because of spiders.Lots of spiders!!!all kinds...all sizes...then she learned ostrich egg miracle. After 6 years she said to me that she saw only 2 or 3 spiders in 6 years...sooooo try it or not...Your choice...I just wanted to share this with you :)))
with very small signs written in Spider that say "Please go outside".
the most effective thing i've found so far are men's dress shoes
the smooth sole is perfect for full contact whacking
Anyone have a idea on how to get rid of spiders, out of a house? And before anyone comes up with the funny/hot answer. I have no plans on burning the house down.....LOL.

I have no problems with small spiders on webs. It\'s the brown ones that scuttle around the basement floor that really get me.

They grow on horse-chestnut trees, they're red and real hard, they're a roundish shape.
In England you can get them anywhere because they grow wild.
Do I get the impression we can't get them and don't know what they are in America? :)
