Cancer. I'm fairly sure it affects more people. Also a part of me has less sympathy for the people with AIDS because for the most part, people get it by doing something they should know better than to do. Sure, certain cancers can be the same way (such as smokers having lung cancer), but there are also many people who get cancer by no fault of their own.

Cure for cancer because I have seen even young people die from it. I don't know of anyone with AIDS or who has died from it. It is a lot more preventable than cancer also.

I would go for cancer, because people who have AIDS do not die of it as often as in the past. Right now I think the leading disease is cancer, it has more than 100 forms so that is why it could affect anyone.

Cure for AIDs because there are many ways to cure many types of cancer. Recovering from AIDs seems to be very unlikely, unless you have a shit load of money, but even then there are no guarantees.

AIDS for simple reasons, My Aunt got it via a blood transfusion and I have been watching her suffer with it for years, cancer might be nasty and kill you slowly but I have never seen cancer linger in someone as long as I have seen lingering death in AIDS patients.

Need both, that much anybody can see. Need cure for cancer first, as it is much more interesting. AIDS is interesting enough, but I have very limited, if any sympathy for anyone with AIDS. Why? It's preventable. All that's needed is common sense.

Cure for cancer. Why? Because unlike AIDS cancer afflicts people wo have done nothing wrong and live healthy. Aids is a disease that people bring on to themselves by being immoral and promiscuous. Very few people get aids from transfusions. So id prefer a cure for cancer.
