Yes. I buy bags of salad mix and package of cubed ham. Put that in a salad bowl with croutons and cherry tomatoes. Make grilled cheese. Put applesause in bowls. Pour the iced tea and dinner is ready. It takes about 10 minutes and is a good summertime meal.

I don't think so, if you are cooking it from scratch (I won't use pre-prepared food). I think you could just about get away with doing something like a vegetable and prawn stir-fry in that time if you chopped stuff up fast. Or you could have cold meat and salad with egg etc. Dinner normally takes me 20 minutes to make from start to finish, eg grilled fish or meat 10-15 minutes, boied new potatoes 15 minutes, accompanying veg five minutes or so.

With parboiled rice, and pre-fried meat.
-
Of course... first thing that springs to mind: stir fry =) You can chop, dice, season and fry in ten minutes for sure.

No, you need to time to make a dinner worth while.
-
Yes. There was a time when I was living without electricity or artificial light in my kitchen. The kitchen was also partially outdoors. I had to get the cooking done really quickly or I would get cold. I used to make nachos frequently. The preparation time was about 5-6 minutes, I'd pop it in the oven, go back inside where it was warm, and then come out in a while and grab it. If you were wanting to cook a mean in under 10 minutes including cooking time (oven etc), I'd recommend a stir-fry, or similar.
-
I do it all the time. I don't have time to stand in the kitchen cooking for hours.
-
Sure. You can time me on the microwave.
