Did Allah has bestowed on man the capability to rule, become prime minister/ president or simply speaking as a leader of any community? Allah mentions, "Men are overseers over women" (Qur'an).

Allah ( the Arabic word for God) which is used by even Christian and Jew Arabs, created men stronger physically than women.In our days there might be exceptions to that but I'm generally speaking. The verse in the Quran you mentioned means that men are responsible and protectors of women. This is meant physically and financially. A woman in Islam, even if she inherits tons of money has no obligation to work or to provide for her family. her husband is on th other hand obligated to provide security and financial stability to his family. As far leading, islamically speaking this is not a problem but it might be sometimes non practical since Islam forbid mixing of the sexes. I mean intermingling between male and female. However, during early islamic time, women ruled and fought in battles. IN our days, there are many islamic countries who have women as political leaders.

That is not Allah speaking, that is men speaking -- men who want to continue to dominate women... men who want to hang on to power, and cement their claim by gluing it to God. This is an example of the kinds of ancient bigotry and lies that keep the world stuck with one foot in the Dark Ages... unable to take responsibility, unable to ensure equal rights for all, unable to do critical thinking about the baggage we're dragging around from the past. If there's any mystical being behind this kind of quote, it's the Devil, not Allah.
