Help answer this question below.

I enjoy this site, however I got slammed because I thought it was reprehensible to ever hit a woman. OK I was a little harsh about teaching that person a lesson, too bad. Am I too chivalrous for this dialogue?

    No I don't think it's ever ok for a man to hit a woman except under the most extreme life or death circumstances. If you're being attacked with a deadly weapon then by all means swing away, but to hit a woman if she slaps or pushes or just annoys you is not acceptable. Too much damage is too easily done.
