Average rate of hair growth is 1/2 inch a month or 1 centimetre a month
So that makes the weekly growth 1/8 inch or 2.5 mill.
On avarage your hair grows one centimeter a week, although it could be different for some people, just on average it's one centimeter. You grow, on average, 1 inch a month. I know this because my mom went to beauty school, she used to have her own shop, but she quit. She still does the family's hair though.:)
Hair grows at a rate of approximately one-half inch each month or 6 inches in a year. However, growth will vary from person to person and may be less where there are certain factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, malnutrition or hormonal imbalances.
