The average temperature of the tundra is -30¡ Fahrenheit (-34¡ Centigrade) in the winter, and it has an average summer temperature of 37¡ to 54¡ Fahrenheit (3¡ to 12¡ Centigrade). The tundra is the coldest of all of the worldÕs biomes, with windy, frozen, tree-less plains that give it a desert-like climate. It has relatively long, cold winters, with short, cool summers.
