Steak is an excellent source of zinc, B-12, iron, riboflavin and thiamin, and of course protein. It good for you to eat but of course in moderation. It also has a lot of fat and colories but its ok to eat in moderation. Studies show that drinking alcohol in moderation can be good for your heart.

That would be fine, but the big problem is portion size. If your daily steak is 1/2 inch thick and 2" in diameter, and your beer is a 6 oz juice glass full, you have a healthy portion of each. But if you have a 48oz porterhouse and a six pack of beer, you will likely become obese and die of heart disease in pretty short order.
