Yes.You dont know how long you have her for
If I were you I would make at least one attempt to have a relationship with your mom. Then, if it did not work out, you could at least say you tried. Who knows, you may be glad you did...at any rate you will probably not suffer guilt at a later date and wonder "what if".
Cold calling, even on her birthday, might not make for a comfortable conversation. Why not send a nice card or even some flowers.
You only have one mum and she won't always be there.
Don't be too proud to make the first move.
Love can build a bridge.
Yes.
You should clear the air between you if you are not speaking to each other due to a fight over something.
Life is too short and the regret that comes in the future is not worth the pain.
I believe in saying I Love You to those yo love before its too late, and I am sure you still do love her as she loves you.
It would make a great present from you to her.
Good luck!
yes, she surely would be happy to hear her son talk to her... on her birthday...as a surprise...
It depends on what the original falling out was over. If you accept that it may have been your fault, then by all means call your mum - I guarantee she'll be glad to hear from you. If however you were the injured party you don't have to call her just because she's your mother and it's her birthday. Calling her on her birthday would be a step towards reconciliation, if that's what you would like.
