I do not have a cell phone. I am thinking about getting one. Do I need unlimited text messaging? Isn't it easier to just call someone on the cell phone rather then typing a text message? Why or why not?

The way the cellular plans where I work are, there's a certain fee per text message. I think it's like 50 cents or a dollar per message. But if you pay a flat $5/month you get something like 300 per month. So we add that text plan to anyone who uses it, but most don't. I personally don't text much, and don't see the point.

get unlimited so u dont have to deal with ppl txting u and u having to payfor it.

It depends on your use.if you want to call 20 persons in a day you can go for text messaging..but if you have just 3 persons to call in a day..then there is no need for unlimited text messaging.you can directly call.

you'll find that texting is actually way easier then calling and you can get unlimited. wich makes it to were your not using your minutes talking to people. I only use my minutes for long distance and emergency.

Texting's more fun. Talking, for me, is such a drag.
