i have a few movies on vcr tape that i am not throwing away - i will watch till they or my vrc wear out. i have 2 dvd players btw.
I do sometimes, because some things I have are on VHS tapes.
Yes why you have some to send me?
i tired to watch one the other day and my old VCR ate it....i decided that was a sign that its time to let go....
I still have a VCR in my basement that my 3yr old will watch on occasion.
My DVD player takes VHS too, so I do watch a few every now and then. You can get some good and cheap movies that way in second hand stores.

Occasionally, but less and less as time goes on.
I have several movies on VHS still unavailable on dvd - "Prospero's Books", for example. (Anyone know where I can get that (region 0 or 2)?) And home movies that I can't be bothered to transfer, and old stuff that I really don't want to buy again.
We still watch VHS a fair amount of the time. We have so many factory VHS tapes and lots of old movies recorded on VHS. I'd love to find a way to transfer all of them to DVD because some of the factory VHS movies are not available on DVD.

While recording, the electricity went out. Now, the vcr records snow. TV is fine. Checked connections, all is fine? What else do I check?

Until recently, it has been pretty tough to find replacements for some VHS movies on DVD. +3
