Do you think that someone diagnosed with "post-partem PSYCHOSIS" should have their children taken away?

    Only if the children are in any danger. If the mother is able to get treated and the treatment is successful, then she should get them back.

    NO, there is treatment and as long as they get it, they are MORE than capable of raising their children!

    Only for as long as it takes her to get treatment and recover. Much as I would like to say "no" I believe that the welfare of the children has to be the overriding issue. Someone suffering this disorder is a potential danger to herself and her children.

    This is the story I was referring to...I suggest the idiot (and you know who you are) read this and tell me again that Im passing judgement. Anyway..it doesnt mention anything about her prior diagnosis but it mentioned on the evening news last night. My ex-mother in law also knows her mother and the diagnosis prior to the killing was factual
