Not necessarily. If your daughter has a photographic (eidetic) memory she would be consistently displaying similar qualities. She would be recalling vast amounts of information (similar to this), with incredibly accuracy (similar to this). However, I assume there would be plenty of examples almost on a daily basis if this were the case, rather than a 'when she was in the 3rd grade' kind of example. Still very impressive, nonetheless.

Personally, I would have my child checked for dyslexia. Having a photographic memory means to remember things exactly as they are. Dyslexia means getting things backwards.
