Bagpipes.

They fill me with this vast sense of celtic pride, which is completely manufactured, being of Dutch descent.

G'day Singwell,

Thank you for your questioning.

Listening to any instrument with no others would get very tiresome after a while so I'd refer to listen to none rather than just one.

Of that choice, I would go for the pan pipes.

I like both. I especially like bagpipes with drums. I don't think I can choose between the two.

I was thinking pan flutes for a second, but then I realized that I dislike the sound of them in new age type music. So, I would have to say bagpipes...as long as they are being played correctly...

I would listen to the Swedish bagpipes,because they are mellow.

- Joke: there was once a man who was taking his bagpipes to be repaired. He put them on the back seat of the car...when he arrived in the city, he got out and started walking...them he realised he'd forgotten the bagpipes...what was worse, he had left the car unlocked...oh, no, he thought, as he ran back to the car....but it was too late....someone had already put another set of bagpipes on the back seat....LOL
