I say do it. Im suicidal too, and believe me there is nothing better than knowing it will soon be over. People will tell you a bunch of bullshit about how depression is temporary; thats a lie; take it for someone who has been depressed for years. The only reason i havent killed myself is a the fear of failure, which is hard to get over, but once you get passed that its easy. Dont feel bad about it, if someone truly cares about you they will be mature enough to let you go,and move on to a better existance. Depression is worse than death, and suicide is its cure.

No, Charlotte. Don't do that! I've had depression in the past too, and it can be sheer hell, i know. Do you know what worked for me?(and it very well could help you too). I began meditating, switching off all thought and just concentrating on one specific object or sound. Deep within us is a all-knowing and wise voice, this voice will be your guide, it has all the answers and will steer you in the right direction. The best way to make contact with it, is to ask yourself a very deep question, such as: "How do i make it through this?". Then, let go of all thought and just focus all your energy on waiting for that answer. You may have to do this quite regularly, before you hear that voice. But with focus and patience, you will reach an "enlightened state" From there on in, only listen to that wise guide and ignore all thought. and i guarantee you will find your way out of the dark pit that you currently find yourself in. Good luck!

oh don't do that. The world is full of happy ex depressed people. You'll learn to bounce back quicker every time you hit a low untill you have less lo-s than most people, then you're practically indestructable.

Not unless you've tried every anti-depressant and psychiatric/psychological professional out there. You wouldn't be reaching out if you didn't want to live. You just don't want to live the way you are now.

NO, you should not commit suicide. If you have truly have medication resistant depression and have tried psychotherapy, why hasn't your psychiatrist done ECT?

you cannot be so weak, if you are depressed instead of sittingg in front of the computer go out and take deep breath, and try to enjoy yourself by doing something different.

Listen sweetie I know it's hard but you can't let depression get away with this! Just by expressing the question the way yo do you are letting it get the upper hand - instead of nothing works how about anyone know how I can beat this?

Firstly if you feel suicidal you'll probably benefit from medication if you aren't already taking some. If you are maybe you need it changed. Talk, talk, talk and then talk some more. When you feel a little calmer you can start to fight back!

I'll bet there are all sorts of thoughts whizzing around in your head and making it difficult to think - write them down - sometimes just putting things on paper helps to order them in your mind. It also gives you chance to see them for what they are - a bunch of mixed up thoughts rather than one real big problem. Little problems we can pick off one by one and deal with.

Instead of believing that only shit ever happens look for something good each day that makes you smile - might only be a butterfly fluttering in the sun the first day but with each day it will grow....

Don't end it - life can change for the better just as quickly as it can turn to crap and I want you to be here for that.
