BALL POSITION..One of the main reasons for a bad shot in golf is ball position. When using a Driver on the tee the ball should be played just off the heel of your left foot (or front foot). What you want is an ASSENDING blow on the ball. In other words you want to hit the ball after the club has "bottomed out" and is on the way up. Tee it high especially with the new drivers.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a golfer.
Logically, you may be standing too forward (toward the target) of the ball. Back up about 6" or so and see what happens. You COULD also be "topping" the ball, meaning hitting on the top 1/2 of the ball.
NOTE: Again, this is logic, and based on a summer, a number of years back, when I went out to a driving range with a friend a few times. ;-)
If golf is so much fun, why is the object of the game to hit the ball as little as possible?
