You eat peas with a fork? Peas should be off the plate in a small bowl. They are eaten with a spoon.

At home yes, at family homes, yes. At restaurants or elsewhere I need to be on best behaviour ... I TRY not to!. Sometimes I succeed .. sometimes when I think nobody is looking ..... I ummm ... turn my fork over to eat my peas~!

I scoop them up like a steam shovel.......My favorite way to eat peas is taking the fork, scooping up some mashed taters and pressing that onto the peas.....Num Yummy!

Funny should you ask this, when I lived in Australia, many Australians turn their forks over for eating peas, but of course, the place the mashed potato first and then top it with the peas. I kinda liked the habit, but no one does it here in Canada.

No. I hold the fork in my left hand, knife in the right, and crush the peas into the tines of the fork. That's Continental etiquette. But if peas are the only thing left on the plate, I switch to a spoon in the right hand. I remember an old song my grandpa used to sing: I eat my peas with honey; I've done it all my life. It makes the peas taste funny, But it keeps them on my knife.

No, I pick them up with chopsticks.
