  • I'm no George Bush fan, but this is really stretching the criticism. What does his grandfather's failings have to do with anything? You're aware that each child is a distinct individual, yes?
  • no link? and who cares what anyones grandfather did, its what you do, not your relatives, what you do
  • Look at any of the "Power" families & you will find a multitude of skeletons. The Kennedys are a whole graveyard. Party or belief doesn't matter.
  • Ever bought anything from IBM? How about General Motors? Or Ford? Maybe bought oil/gas/diesel from Standard (Exxon)? Or maybe used or bought products or services from DuPont, Union Carbide, Wesinghouse, General Electric, Giletter, Goodrich, Eastman Kodak, Singer, Coca-Cola, or ITT? And then there are the many American law firms, investment companies, and banks which were deeply involved in America's investment offensive in Germany, among them the renowned Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, and the banks J. P. Morgan and Dillon, Read and Company, as well as the Union Bank of New York, owned by Brown Brothers & Harriman. The Union Bank was intimately linked with the financial and industrial empire of German steel magnate Thyssen, whose financial support enabled Hitler to come to power. This last bank was managed by Prescott Bush, grandfather of George W. Bush. A LOT of oil companies did business with the Nazis, and so did many financial organizations, including the Rockefellers along with Bush's family. It should be remembered that during the 1930's and the first part of the war The United States was NOT at war with Germany. Many changes took place when the U.S. got involved. If you're gonna throw stones, you had better start throwing them at everybody and every organization which was involved in this.
  • You shouldn't trust the Bush's. Prescott also tried to stage a coup over FDR back in the day. George H.W. Bush was head of the CIA for years and then tricked Saddam Hussein into going into war as President. George W. Bush picked up where daddy left off and had Saddam killed in the name of vengeance for an act he was not responsible for (9/11). In the end, you can't really trust any politician, especially those in political families (Bush, Clinton, Kennedy). They all have hidden agendas and are working for self-interest and preservation of power.
  • Come on,the black kings in Africa sold there black subjects into slavery.
  • I don't know anything about this however I can tell you that Hitler was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1938(or 39). People didn't know what Hitler was doing until it was too late. To suggest that Prescott Bush had anything to do with Hitler's actions in WWII is just ridiculous. On a further note, what do you know about Prescott Bush being an early supporter of the United Negro Fund? Did you know he was the chairman of the Connecticut branch in 1951? This is documented and can be proven unlike the Hitler statement. Prescott Bush was a good man and if he had anything to do with Hitler, which I really doubt and challenge anyone to find some kind of proof, it was most likely in international business negotiations in Germany's coming out of their economic depression. I would bet every pay check I ever make in the future that he never had a single thing to do with Hitler's sick actions against humanity.
  • We know that Obama's Kenyan ancestors were tribal Chieftains owing and trading slaves.
