Help answer this question below.
It has nothing to do with being shy, but rather safe. Am very careful what personal info. I put on the net.
Not too much personal info.
Anonymity is damn near a joke online.
It doesn't concern me much.
I've got nothing to hide, but I'm careful not to volunteer any financial information or reveal anything that may hurt or embarrass anyone close to me.
My general rule is, never say or post anything I don't want to own up to later.
I prefer to be anonymous. Dont want my personal detail displayed all over the world, Im kind of a shy person..........
Depends where I am and what I'm doing. Anonymity for me is sometimes about getting things done faster rather than securely. So if I want get into a site without registering and filling in this and that or download 10 files at once without premium access etc then anonymity is what makes it happen. Nothing to do with crime and deception it's just circumnavigation of a process to make it faster for you without causeing it problems.
I guess everybody preferred anonymity....
