Help answer this question below.

Hypothetically U meet someone u really like, they have all the qualities that r important 2 u when choosing a partner, they could almost b perfect! Except 4 one thing! Their political or religious views differ from your! Can u/ would u even try?

    Thats a hard one... I guess it would depend on how devoted they are to their beliefs and if they would try to push me to see things their way....

    Yes, I wouldn't care to be with someone who agreed with me on every issue. I don't wan to date myself. There's a term for that I think! hehe

    If you are looking for the perfect mate, forget it! No one is perfect and you cannot have them altered. Now, is their imperfection a major or minor thing. Religion, to me, is a major issue. But I know a couple that thinks differently- she is Jewish and he is not. But they have only been married 50+ years.

    Political or religious differences would be a deal-breaker for me. I could never be happy with a good little Christian girl or a Republican.

    I had a very smart man tell me "politics and religion should never be in a marriage" If you love each other then everything else doesn't matter.
