Do you feel that on AB people don't answer questions of those with a low level because they won't receive as many Pts from them? That's how it feels sometimes.

I don't want points if that is the reason behind answering good questions,I answer for the sharing of my experiences or joking around,points mean little to nothing anyway!

Not for me. I am not here for points. I'm here to have fun, hopefully make a few friends,answer some questions, eventually ask some, and see different points of view on interesting topics. But hey, thats just me :)

I answer questions if I feel I can offer some advice or have a strong opinion on....I just answer whats of interest to me.

We answer juicy questions. Many new users ask the same idiotic repetitive questions. We tend to ignore those. We all started at a low level, we don't ignore you just because that's where you are. The higher you go the LESS you are motivated by points. Try to make your questions enticing and complete. Good luck!

Points doesn't make any difference to me, though I have to admit many newbie's questions have awful grammar, spelling and logic, and that turns me off.

No.You should make more friends here since that will make your question appear in their Friends Questions and have very good questions so that they can answer you better.Points are motivation for a few but not all of us.So just post great questions and get answers and points as well.+

I guess that some people particularly interested in points could do this. Also, some users often answer a series of questions from particular people, who are well known to ask interesting questions. And those well known askers are often high level users. But many don't do this. I don't do this myself either. Also, many beginners ask questions which have already been asked somehow, and some experienced users get tired of answering the same questions.

Not at all. First of all, it's the quality of the posting that attracts me, not the level. Second, in order to find your lever. I need to take that extra step to visit your profile first. I DO check profiles, but usually only if I find something odd or unusual about your posting, or if I get a friends request. I never waste my time checking a profile just to see what lever anyone is.

I answer questions that interest me whether they come from Level 1 or Level 101. Questions that appeal to people will get points regardless.

Like others have said, I never look at the level of the asker before answering a question. I just answer it if it is interesting or funny or I feel I know about the subject matter.
