When you buy new belly jewelry, how do you clean/sanitize it before putting it in?

Rubbing alcohol works just fine.

you can soak it in rubbing alcohol or vodka and then wash it with anti-bacterial soap

i tend to wipe them down with alchol swabs from first aid kits then i soak it in the cleanser i was told to use when i got my peircing. sterilize all jewlery before putting it in even if it is yours already but hasnt been in for even a few hours.
