Which is worse: A constant runny nose or a horrendous cough?

    For me its the nose. My head hurts from it and I can barely sleep because laying down hurts too. BTW I have both right now, and I want to jump out a window.

    I'm used to a constant runny nose, I have had allergies all my life. So for me, the cough would be worse, because you could cough so hard it would make your throat sore and that would hurt.

    Coughing seem to shock my whole body. My head, back and throat hurt really bad, plus I can't get any more than 2 hours of sleep at night.

    Give me a runny nose any day of the week. A cough destroys my throat, gives me headaches and makes my ribs hurt. Not to mention lack of sleep.

    I have to say cough because I have both and my cough is horrible!! Might help if I quit smoking too (which I HAVE cutback)

    I would say a horrendous cough because I wouldn't be able to hear myself think. Also, your throat would hurt like crazy.
