No...I rubbed some on my husband, but he still has them...LOL...Just kidding. ` If you really want to get rid of fleas from your dog, try a little olive oil with either a little spearmint or a little peppermint. Peppermint is a bit gentler for your own nose or dog's nose, but spearmint will produce quicker results. ` Crush the spearmint or peppermint very finely and add to olive oil. Smooth on your husband...I meant dog...well, shoot what's the difference? Then brush it in. You don't need much of it and I would suggest doing it while your dog is still wet from a good deep-rub bath. You could dip the brush in it and slowly, gently brush it in. Please avoid the eyes and inner ears. Be careful. Dogs love spearmint/peppermint as much as I...dang, I meant as much as CATS...yeah that's it, cats...love catnip. They will try to eat it, but if they do, it won't hurt if you're using fresh spearmint/peppermint.
