  • Bohemian Island still exists. Who cares, claim whatever you want. How can somebody say you arnt something?...They cant.
  • interesting mix. you can call yourself what you think you are. i agree with you, it existed enough for you to have that heritage.
  • Who are these people? They're not nearly Bohimean enough.
  • That country may not exist any more, but it was called Bohemia when your ancestor lived there, so naysayers can shove it.
  • Bohemia is the western part of the Czech republic and the Czechs (or Bohemians)live there and Moravia is the eastern part and the Moravians live there. But even Moravians call themselves Czechs sometimes, people usually don't care about the difference anymore. You could say that Bohemia and Moravia are historical lands like for example England and Scotland in the UK (and people call themselves Scottish all the time). There isn't much difference between Bohemians and Moravians, they are probably usually considered one nation.
  • What a neat combination you are. If you were born when the country was called Bohemia or whatever then you are indeed Boehmian.
  • you are still Japanese, Polish and Bohemian because you were so when you were born. +5
