Because consumers buy stupid stuff, and "just as good" does not mean "better". So if they are just as good, why would they offer better?

why would i have to pay more out of my pocket to get a extended warranty on a product thats very high in price and very poor in quality, sony should back up its product by giving the consumer a two or more yr warranty on all of there electronic products thats showing the consumer that they back up there quality in what they make thats what i call costumer satisfaction.

You're reading If sony so much brags about there electronic products and say there product is one of top 5 consumer product sold in america why wont they back it up by giving the consumer a two year or more wanranty on there products like ps3 that cost 400.00 dollars.
