    It all depends what the people want. Nationalism seems to lead to war. After losing the two biggest wars in recorded history, the Germans now get that lesson.
    Perhaps nationalists in America will take note.
    The masses want and deserve real, lasting global peace and prosperity. It is possible to accomplish. There must be beneficent authority with real muscle, while adhering to the ideals of freedom with responsibility, human rights, education and enlightened behaviour, such as peace and love, altruism.
    Socialism as in Sweden or Germany or France has not been found wanting in America, it has not been tried.
    For the masses, theism seems to satisfy their spiritual hunger, and the most successful exponents of that are Catholicism, Islam, and Hinduism.
    For a woman or man who can face the full, cold blast of the cosmic implications of it, atheism and Darwinism seem to offer a reasonable explanation
    for the reality of the human situation.
