• sorry greekgod but i will hve to disagree with you he has won nothing at villa but spent a shed load of cash.He managed celtic which realistically is a two horse league spent a shed load of cash in what basically a third rate league.And what trophies did he win at leicester?

• he got them the football league cup twice in his time.
  Also Aston villa have not been this far up the league since Big Ron. And may I remind you it is a business and the further up the league the more money you got, so from a business sense that is success too.

• Everton.. At the time Martin O'Neil was at Leicester, They were head and shoulders above Everton, in both cup and domestic, And Leicester got into Europe.
  Leicester were never the same after he left.
  When he was at Celtic he had an easier job because they always come 1st or 2nd anyway!
  Aston Villa were also doing amazingly well in the first half of last season.
  
  You don't have to like the guy, But you can't say he is not an amazing manager! He has proved himself time and time again! Your lack of footballing knowledge, and obvious bitterness over supporting a shit team like Everton are clearly blurring your vision and making you unable to give an educated answer.
