I currently use an older version of Adobe Photoshop (6.0) and I want to get a current comparable Photoshop replacement. Would CS4 be best, or Photoshop elements? Or something else? I want to be able to do graphic art, not just photo management. Help?

One of the photoshop CS versions is your best bet. Elements is a great program, but falls short in areas that are crucial to professional use.
