Is it true that when eating ice cream, instead of cooling you off, it actually makes your body warmer in the long run?

Not if you drink ice water after.It helps to prevent the milk in the ice-cream from heating up in your body.Dairy is more easily heated up then water,FYI.;)*+++++*

I've heard that your body has to work harder to warm up the ice cream (or to replace the heat that was lost)so that it can be digested.
