Help answer this question below.

My estranged wife hired a psychologist to talk with our children, and is now claiming I hurt them. Now, the psychologist has hired a lawyer to keep from having to testify in court. How can I fight this?

    On a human point of view, try to believe in your children's genuine love and know they know this not to be true. If this whole thing is a scam, have patience and you can trust your children will come to you in time. Also, remember, most, not all, lawyers and psychologists are all out for the $$$$$$$$ they could care less about your kids.

    Don't forget the Dr. is under oath not to talk about exactly what the child said behind closed doors. It is, however, a legal responsibility to report child abuse to the authorities. Due to doctor-patient confidentiality - he may not have to testify, or if he does - not many details will be forth coming.

    Ask that the charges be dismissed on the grounds that you are not completely aware of what you are being accused of and your right to be confronted by your accuser would be compromised.

    You can't defend a charge if nobody is going to come out and say that this is what you did.
