2002 mitsubishi lancer es Enghine Knocking only when i put it in drive just replaced front enghine mount where could the knocking be coming from enghine oil is fine, tranny fluid is fine! only knocks when its in drive not park or neutral o

You're reading I built my own cold air intake with a spectre cone filter and their mass air flow sensor holder tube. I am getting a check engine light and it idles horrible. Also it wont let me go past 4k rpm now. Any ideas?

I have a 2004 lancer es with a cold air intake that runs awesome you need to reset ur computer I had the same problem. Just disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes and that should do it if not you will need to get a performance chip. Or you have a bad mass air flow sender. Also my idle air control valve went out when the check engine light came on if that don't work go to advanced auto parts and have them run the code
