Help answer this question below.

Why has the word Liberal become a curse word for Republicans to use? When they call someone a Liberal it's like an insult. Usually Liberals are showing respect for human dignity and rights, how and why did that become a bad thing in this country?

    Every time someone makes a statement like "Usually Liberals are showing respect for human dignity and rights" they are creating an insult by suggesting that conservatives do not care about "human dignity and rights".

    Statements like this just continue and exacerbate the divide that should not exist. It's time to start disagreeing with each other but still respecting one another.

    IMHO Questions like this dribble just prolong the divide and incite hatred, the proverbial throwing gasoline on the fire.

    Thats it, I've had enough... Every body gets corner time.

    And we know what bullies think of those who stand up to them.
