My main weapon is the European Longsword. I study the German style, which is a part of the Kunst des Fechtens, the martial art of medieval and renaissance Germany. German Longsword also contains a fair amount of grappling/wrestling. I also study Italian Rapier, and Sword & Buckler, again in German style as detailed in MS. I.33, perhaps the world's oldest extant personal combat treatise, dated at about 1300.

I am more of a healer and priest than I am a warrior ... I teach meditations, Chinese Herbology & Moxibution, accupressure massage therapy, martial health sciences combined with self defense ... I hold a 7th degree black belt in Tanaka-Ryu Ninjitsu ... my prefered weapon is the wooden combat cane ... because it is perfectly legal for anyone to carry anywhere ... http://www.canemasters.com But I am also a master of 136 different cutting edge weapons, from a tiny thumb pick to a huge two handed broadsword, to spears, pikes, polearms, and battle axes ... of them, I am best with a Ninjato ... I am also skilled with bow & arrow while I am standing, but archery from horseback is a skill I have yet to develop. I am very smooth and fluid but not very fast with nanchukus ... but I am very good with the three section staff.
