For vehicles that have wear sensors they almost always come with replacement pads. Exceptions would be many German cars such as BMW and Porsche some VW and some Audi.
BTW, OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer which usually means a dealer part. Some OEMs also sell to the 'aftermarket' (auto part distributors).

Everywhere rotors are called brake discs, except North America, why is that, as they do not rotate?

You're reading I have a 2004 Toyota Sienna which the front brake pads need changing. I need to know if the wear pad indicator plates comes with the OEM replacement pads or is that a dealer item?
