Aside from Jerv's comment to balletomaniac's answer (I haven't tried Jerv's way), I think in your current session of Firefox you'll get the opportunity to download the player (or update), and then the next time you re-start Firefox (re-initialize the program) you'll have the opportunity to install.
I'm pretty sure that you have to click "Run". This runs the Installation Wizard, which, you know, installs it.
What's the best nspr4.dll fix? A good number are available.

You're reading How the heck do you get Adobe Flash Player to download AND install in Firefox? The window only offers "save" "cancel", no "run". Saving doesn't help. Suggestions? thanx.
