  • Typically, anywhere other than Atlanta proper and Gwinnett County, Pixie. That's why Cobb county fought so damn hard against connecting Cobb County Transit with Marta. The crime shot up over 300% one year after the anniversary of the connection. Gwinnett County has a lot of crime, ostensibly due to it's many low rental districts/areas, it's connectability to other areas via 85, and the profusion of small businesses in the area that cater to many different cultures. The closer you get into Atlanta, the higher the crime rate climbs. If I were to take puclic transportation, I'd look outward from Atlanta into the 285 eastern arc (since you're east of the city), and 20 east. +5
