Help answer this question below.

Im looking for free 2d animation software. I've tried pivot and like the way it handles frames. I want to do more than just stick people tho.

    you can get a free trial of adobe flash cs4 at link: http://www.adobe.com.

    the free trial of photoshop (cs and later) also support's animation. get it at http://www.adobe.com.

    if you want complete free animation software i suggest you to use "pencil" which is a animation program which is specialized in drawing animation's. get it at link: http://www.pencil-animation.org/

    all these animation programs handles animation by key-frames.
