It does have age restrictions . It is just difficult to judge maturity.

- I asked this question after seeing a shocking question(and the response) related to beastiality(hope i spelt that right)And i was sickened to think of 15yr olds comming across that!but i have been informed that there is a 15yr restriction and the adult section is taboo,so go ahead chat away :0)

- i think that anyone smart enough to use a computer is therefore smart enough to ask questions and want to know more. I dont think there should be an age restriction on the sharing of information. Obviosly there are exceptions like the adult section of AB but honestly i think anybody should be able to ask a question and get an answer no matter their age.

- I have a 3 year old daughter that navigates the web better than many adults. my 5 and 7 year old daughters are quite proficient surfers. I certainly would not let my children roam free in the AB archives. I had a hard enough time explaining homosexuals to my 7 year old, I do not want to have to explain beastiality.

The mininum age on AB is 14 and in the Adult section, it's 18.

This rule appears when you register to join and also when you enter the Adult Section.

It does, and it's about at the right level. 14 years old. In my opinion, the limit should be 13, because it is a "milestone" age and the limit for many web sites.

Here's the restriction I would like to see in place, folks. AB'ers cannot start DRing people until they reach level 10. Then they can DR one point only. Let the DRing points be raised a point every 5 levels from then on. No one should be able to DR when they don't even know what they heck the system is all about.
