Help answer this question below.
Well since this is in anthropology... I'm not sure how to answer that... since I'm not sure how it relates to anthropology... unless we're looking at it based on how different cultures view life?
Ignoring any anthropological view...
Yes. We probably would, since the scientific requirement for life is as odd and small as prokaryotes... and at least, as evidenced by how life in different environments on Earth work, there are basic requirements to something being considered "life".

Do you think humans are at the top or bottom of the evolutionary scale...animal section? They supposedly have greater potential..do they?

You're reading If live evolved in a VERY different environment, say Europa's ice-covered ocean or the Sun's Chromosphere, how different do you think it would be? Would we even recognize it as life?

Thanks. I really couldn't find an appropriate category for the question. If you know of a better fit, please feel free to moderate it and switch it to the better category.

Probably Biology. Anthropology is just the study of humans, Biology would be the category that would consider that.. or.. maybe Philosophy considering the type of question. :)

Thanks. Moderate it and get yourself 5 point plus providing better organization here. I'd vote for biology.
