My wife's 1991 Buick Century occasionally loses power, sputters under acceleration and almost stalls. What could be wrong?

    Has the car been through a tune-up recently? You will probably want to change the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, PCV valve, and air filter if you havent done so in a while. Secondly it could be the EGR valve, oxygen sensor, or fuel filter.

    You can get a book of codes at most auto parts supply stores and doing a computer check might let you better find out which area is causing the problem.
