We need to make some inroads in Congress first, but I'm all for it. A little personal responsibility would go a looooooong way!

A lot of people would wind up having to pay their own bills instead of mooching off of the rest of us.

    Libertarians want to maximize freedom.
A president, or any other office-holder, would try to repeal coercive laws, would try to enforce Constitutional rights.
A Libertarian or libertarian victory would mean lower taxes and less coercive involvement in foreign nations.
I would hope both of you, Beavis and Judge, would make major research efforts into the Libertarian Party and its philosophy.
Unfortunately, it has been very badly run, but it still has the best philosophy.

I hope people would realize it's better to make their own decisions than let someone else make them for you.

Not much - one man can do little - especially against entrenched parties that will tolerate no new ideology coming into play.

If you want to really save this country - outlaw political parties altogether. Vote for the person - not the party.

im a little hesitant to jump on the libertarian train, mainly because people like glenn beck consider themselves libertarians. my only real beef with libertarians is that we're still gonna have to pay taxes, many of them want to reduce the defficet and lower taxes, which cant happen, and though i agree to lowering government spending, theres a fine line
