I'm learning how to drive with my mom & today I crashed her car while we were practicing. She doesn't want to tell the insurance bc she's had 3 accidents already. Her work is on strike. I feel so bad, but getting a job nowdays is so tough. What can I do?

Start looking REALLY hard to find a job. You need to take responsibility for your actions.

Find a job no matter how long it takes you.
    Bag groceries, wait tables.
    You created the mess.
    Now get out of it.

Really nothing. Just apologize. Your mom is probably going to have to live with it for now. But don't worry its just a vehicle nothing to get upset about or anything. My brother is a horrid driver he crashed my car when he was 14 and completely destroyed the drivers side of my car. He hit my car a three times, and he has wrecked his own car five or six times. Never hit a strangers property or anything. But yea I was mad and my mom was mad, but eventually it blows over. And your mom will be over it. so don't freak out. Its just a piece of metal.

It was your mom's car and your mom's decision to allow you to drive the car. You're LEARNING to drive, meaning that you don't know how, yet. She made an informed decision and it backfired. That's life for all of us. Get a job and help your mom pay for the damage if you want. But it isn't your fault. +5

I just crashed my dad's car today. I do feel bad for it, but what has happened has happened. Beating yourself up doesn't help. The important thing is that you weren't hurt. Just try to be a little more considerate of finances around the house and be careful with what you buy. Also, see this as a learning experience. You made a mistake, learn from it, and move on. That's the way life runs. Good luck. :)

Help your mom around the house. Offer to help neighbors with lawn work to earn some money to help out. Keep trying to get a job until you are finally employed. It will make you feel better and I am sure your mom would like the help.

Here is an idea that may make your mom smile. Make a small coupon book. On each coupon put a chore you can accomplish. Example: Cook Dinner, Wash Dishes, Vacuum Whole Home. She can "cash" in her coupons when she needs the extra help. Don't forget to add hugs and kisses!
