On my 2000 GMC Safari Van, when you turn the engine off the radio and windows are supposed to stay working but they don't. What's wrong and how can I fix it?

I haul cars for a living and have not paid real close attention to what you are talking about. I have noticed the radio staying on after the ignition is off and the key removed. The radio will turn off when you open the door or maybe when you unfasten the seat belt. If this is not what you are refering to then your ignition switch needs to be in the accessories position for the windows and radio to work. This position is either one click behind or one click in front of the position where you can remove the key. Good luck.
