The Meth Monster is a term used to personify the issue of methamphetamine addiction and it's related negative social effects.

It was popularized in part by the Thurston County, WA website on the topic. http://www.co.thurston.wa.us/meth/

You might also hear the term "meth monster" used to describe a person who is severely addicted to the drug or who has a particularly violent reaction from taking meth. For example, "That guy was always on speed and acting crazy- he was a real meth monster."

Occasionally, "meth monster" can be used to describe the paranoid hallucinations of a person under the influence of crystal meth. For example, "He hadn't slept for days and was rambling about the meth monsters coming to get him."
