Help answer this question below.

I have a 1996 Ford Contour blower motor, I can not figure out how to release the blower motor from the housing, I wanted to replace the resistor to see if that would fix the blower speed problem, it will not blow air on high speed, very little air

    twist the motor counterclockwise......
