Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't believe I missed the January one! Though it's not the same as really seeing one, this is what I love about the internet! I got a laugh reading about proper viewing of an eclipse too! I still remember when we were kids and any kind of eclipse was due, my parents would freak and tell us not to look directly at it; LOL! I loved reading that "Herodotus wrote that Thales of Miletus predicted an eclipse which occurred during a war between the Medians and the Lydians. Soldiers on both sides put down their weapons and declared peace as a result of the eclipse." Wouldn't it be wonderful, if all it took to end a war was an eclipse?!
